Danwa Chinese Baptist Church (DCBC)
began her history with a vision to plant a Chinese Church in East Bay area. Three families in Christ had gathered together to pray for this vision. On September 13, 1991 we started the first Church Sunday Worship Service in the Gatetree Baptist Church. Rev. Alfred Kong was our first pastor. Rev. Samuel Law came from Hong Kong and took up the pastoral responsibilities of DCBC in September 1994 until November 2000. 

Then, Rev. Kan Lam became our senior pastor effective January 1, 2001.  He left Danwa in october 2007.

God answered our prayer and sent us a new pastor.. In March 2009, Minister Wilon Ho joint Danwa and became our fourth and present pastor .

Danwa Chinese Baptist Church is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Costa-Meda Baptist Association. DCBC is also a member of the Northern California Chinese Baptist Association.
